Dr Victor Kiplagat

Is the current CEO and Co-Founder of Spin Mobile LLC – a VC backed Fintech company incorporated both in Kenya and Delaware USA. Spin Mobile is a leading Data Analytics company for Financial Institutions in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Spin Mobile serves over 200 leading financial institutions in East Africa.

He has over 14 years of professional experience in several multinational companies, 7 of those years serving as CMO and CEO. Before Spin Mobile, Victor had worked as the General Manager at Finance Plan Kenya; Chief Marketing Officer at Jamii Telecoms Limited; and several other roles within Comviva, Airtel Kenya, Airtel Chad and Airtel Rwanda. On part time basis, he is an Adjunct at St Paul’s University – Computer Science Department.

Victor is a PhD holder from University of Nairobi, class of 2023, with specialization in Strategic Information Systems (SIS) – research area on Digital Credit Revolution. He is also a double-masters graduate; that’s Master of Science (Information systems) from University of Nairobi and MBA (Master of Business Administration) Strategic Management from Kenyatta University. At undergraduate level, he did a degree in Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) from Kenyatta University and is also a CCNA certified.

He is an Advisory Member and chairman of Men’s Ministry at Citam Woodley. He also serves as the Board Member Simotwo Boys High school. Victor is passionate about making a difference in the community and solving societal problems using emerging technologies.
